About Our House Rulz!
GOD. FAMILY. COUNTRY. In that order.
It all began with the outbreak of COVID. Many families had a hard time staying connected with others, and often times with each other. There was a lot of time on our hands, with nothing to do. Schools were closed, and parents were working from home - while being teachers. Stores were closed, our kids sports programs shut down, our churches were closed, and much more. As families, our connections were severed. It’s amazing that we all didn’t go insane. So, as a family we decided to do some things. We of course began cooking at home a lot, we talked more, we played games more, we went outside more, we laughed more, we connected more, we prayed more, we became a better family.
But, no matter what, we have decided to keep this lifestyle of togetherness instead of reverting back to our “old ways”. So we want to share with you our continued adventures as we traverse through our lives. We hope to offer other families ideas on how to connect better with each other, activities to do as a family, advice on how to stay strong in these times we live, but we also want your ideas. Send us your ideas, activities, advice, thoughts, concerns, and together we can all strengthen our families.
Don’t worry about what’s happening in the world today. Have Faith - God is in Control.
Matthew 6:25-26
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
